Here Comes the Sun: Green hrm Implementation Toward SME’s Sustainability in Tourism Industry

Purpose: This paper explores the variable of Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM) in creating job satisfaction and organizational commitment at Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) particularly tourism sector. Theoretical framework: The existing literature has predominantly discussed about effect on commitment, but what not been investigated is how through HRM as argued by works Firdaus Udin (2014), Loucks et al. (2010), Muster Schrader (2011). Design/methodology/approach: study employs a qualitative research design using semi-structured interviews to explore issues depth. Purposive sampling was used collect data from 25 SMEs actors (business owners, managers, employees) industry. Findings: results show that significant it mediated practices. Simultaneously, satisfaction, are admitted bringing more employees’ quality working life. Moreover, life better, their productivity work will be significantly positive. Research, Practical & Social implications: We suggest future agenda highlight practical SME’s industry order create sustainable greener environment. Originality/value: novelty this discovered employees sector influenced practice GHRM which ultimately increases commitment.
